Denver Academy of Torah invites the entire Jewish community to a Leil Iyun - night of learning,

As a Rabbi, Torah study and how to create opportunities for community partners to access Torah is a topic dear to my heart. Below are some thoughts related to a program that we would like to begin after Pesach. I will speak about this topic this Shabbat morning.   Family Beit Midrash- A proposal for a new model of study that draws on classical precedents  

Interested in selling any chometz? We know a non- Jew who is interested in buying, and we can act as your agents.You can download the form and fill it out to make Rabbi Hess a messenger to sell the chometz for you. Simply fill out the entire form describing what type of chometz you have and where you are storing it (there is a section on the bottom that only needs to be filled out if you will be away for all of yom tov) and give it to either Rabbi Hess or Rabbi Alter.If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Rabbis

The DAT Minyan is proud to present you with the first sections of the Kashrut manual. We hope that this manual will serve as an educational instrument and as a convenient reference tool. The manual will be rolled out in sections, but once completed it will cover many topics, including but not limited to:

Acceptable Kashrut symbols
Tevilat keilim
Cooking by non-Jews
Cooking on Shabbat
What products do not require hashgacha
A list of local kosher establishments
Various other topics.

While we have tried to cover many issues that come up on a regular basis, we recognize that there are many issues not covered in this manual. Please feel free to call either of us if you have any questions or need any clarification.
