Dear Friends,

First of all, I was asked to provide a link for the latest edition of Kol HaNearim, a publication of Religious Zionist high scholls across the country, including our very own, Denver Academy of Torah. You can access it here

Second, as we enter my last Chag with the DAT Minyan, and my last two weeks in this role, I want to make a point of expressing my Hakarat HaTov, my tremendous appreciation to members of the Boartd, Mat Raphaely and David Fishman.

Most of you have no idea what Mark has had to deal with during his two-year tenure, but rest assured, he doesn;t wish it on anyone. And to cap it all off, we have had the last two plus months of COVID shut-down, which was a heck of a way for his ter,m to conclude. Nevertheless, he has remained positive, focused, suportive, and constantly working - as he was all afternoon, making sure we were set up for our minimal Minyan. All of this is done in an unpaid capacity, and he gets huge kudos for his commitment.

David Fishman is a PAST president. Most such individuals watch from the sideline. However, David - especially during this trying time - has been consistently invested, completely committed, and always there when anything needs to get done. He has attended practically every Zoom minyan and class since this crisis began, and continues with his nose to the grindstone, also having spent the afternoon finishing out "tent city shul" for the Chag.

I thank them publically for their leadership and commitment. I am sure I speak for the whole shul when I do so.

And don't forget - the derasha is on Zoom at 7:30 pm!

Chag Sameach!

Rabbi Friedman
